Who should not have a Cholesterol blood test?
If you are under 18, if you believe you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have given birth in the last 6 months you should not take the cholesterol test as this could impact your results.

What tube/vial do I need to fill and how much of it?
You should fill in a yellow vial with 600ul of blood.

What is the best way to have my sample taken
We suggest initially warming your hands up and doing some gentle hand exercises before taking a sample. We also suggest using either index or ring finger as we found that these have the best blood flow.

How do I notify you that I have sent my sample?
Upon booking, you should get a unique link that will allow you to provide data on when the sample has been taken. If you have not received this, please contact us via chat or on cs@agilishealth.co.uk

What happens once I sent my sample?
We will process your sample within 72 hrs of it arriving to the lab. Your results will be reviewed by a doctor and released to you via email and your patient portal.

How do I login to my patient portal?
During your purchase of the test on the Agilis website, we were given access to your account to view your orders and also your online blood test results.
You can access it by clicking Sign In button located at the top menu of Agilis website.
